Locking Wheel Nuts / Bolts Removal

Lost or broken wheel locking keys can be a major problem. Many people don’t realise that it’s not as simple as coming in and asking for a replacement key, it’s like walking into a locksmith and asking for replacement front door key without a spare one to hand. There are many different systems used and many different keys per system.

If the locking system was original to the vehicle the key number may be in with the original vehicle documents or if you are lucky the number may have been recorded at the dealership and a replacement key available to order. The process usually takes a few days and can be expensive.

If the details of the key number are not available or the key has been broken due to overtightening (a replacement key may also break if bought), we have specialised equipment which can usually remove the locking nut or bolt. If it has been excessively overtightened or seized then this will make the job more difficult or even impossible in extreme cases.
