Our Terms & Conditions for hiring load carrying equipment

  1. We allow our customers to collect the hired Equipment a day before and returned the following day of the hire period giving a clear and full hire period. If the Equipment is returned later than the due date then a Penalty charge of £10.00 per day will be levied.
  2. The cost of hire will be per week (Paid in advance at the time of hire).
  3. The Reservation Fee is Non Refundable but deductible from the total hire charge. The Reservation Fee will be lost if the hire is not executed by 17:00 hrs on the day after the appointed hire box collection date.
  4. Hire Collection Time Between 14:00 hrs and 17:00 hrs
  5. Hire Return Time Between 09:15 hrs and 12:30 hrs
  6. The Equipment will be supplied complete, clean and in good condition. It must be returned in the same way. A checklist will be completed by both a member of staff and the hirer at time of hire and return of hired box.
  7. If the Equipment is returned later than the due date then a Penalty charge of £10.00 per day will be levied.
  8. We will also require an I.D. with the current address eg: Driving Licence or Utility Bill (no more than 3 months old).
  9. A deposit will be taken in CASH, Debit/Credit Card (No Amex) at time of hire. This will be refunded subject to the Equipment being returned complete, clean and in good condition. If the Equipment is returned other than how it was then the returned deposit may be reduced or lost completely.
  10. In the event of the equipment being lost or damaged while in your care. We reserve the right to charge you for the price of replacing the equipment which may be more than your deposit. You may be able to recover this via your insurance company.
  11. We offer an optional damage waiver. If this is taken out, in the event of damage you will only lose your deposit and no additional charge will be made.
  12. Hired Equipment will be supplied and fitted by us at our premises for no additional cost.  We do not offer a delivery option.
  13. Please note that to mount a Roof Box on your car you will need the correct roof bar mounting system for your vehicle in place first, it is also best to check that they fit correctly to your vehicle if you haven’t used them before.
  14. We reserve the right to refuse the hire of the Equipment for safety or any other reason we deem appropriate. In which case we will refund the full reservation fee only.
  15. While we endeavour to have everything in place ready for you. There may be circumstances when we are unable to supply you with the equipment booked (late or damaged returned equipment or where the listed equipment is unsuitable for your vehicle) in these cases we will refund any charges we have made. This will be our only liability in this case and we will not be liable for any other costs.

Notes

We would suggest arranging roof bars at least a week or two in advance to ensure you have them in time, especially if your vehicle is a new one, or a more unusual model (particularly three door versions).
